going large again on the dutch...this train just keeps picking up more steam along it's stops...and now, robben will make an appearance per the coach...i stated b4 that the african teams play with very lil discipline...the dutch will not rely on a tie...just like argentina...expect a tidy 2-0 effort....cheers
not so sure man, because they only scored one real goal so far. the first against denmark was an own goal, and against japan it was a big mistake by the goalie. other than that they did have chances, but couldnt convert and the game is just not rolling with the oranges. there is no flow, no speed. van persie is missing all the chances, sneijder is only striking from a distance and is lacking the through passes that he always gives at inter. i just dont see them winning that easily like you said. think it'll be a boring game and a 1-0 maybe for the dutch. wont be surprised if it would be a scoreless draw.
true they only scored 1 REAL goal...but the fact is that they have been dominating possession...so, you have a team dominating possession against a team that is out of the tournament that lacks fundamental discipline..i will take the more technical, engineering squad every day of the week...they will wear down cameroon til they cry uncle...if cameroon decides to press, the fast break, so to speak, will be full on for the dutch...all discussion is great...much appreciated to hear another standpoint...even if we disagree...cheers...
well, well, well...group winners and on to face slovakia(tough opponent, no doubt)...looks like van der vart and his services will be taking to the pine....robben is back and showed in the brief time on the pitch how gifted he is...i think the post is still rattling...would have been nice at the end of the game for the ref to call it both ways...huntelaar should have been given a penalty kick....will be very interesting to see what formation van marjwik will put out v. slovakia....the thoughts are stirring in my head, now w/arjen back....cheers..hup holland hup
